This course is an introduction to financial and managerial accounting. It also serves as a bridge to basic financial decision-making. It will introduce the concepts of business and the measurement systems used to control and evaluate business activities. It will also explore costing systems and the use of accounting data as a basis for management planning and decision making, using basic tools such as return on investment.
