ARCE 217. Computer-Assisted Building Design. 3 Hours.

Introduction to computer-aided design (CAD) tools. The course covers 2D drafting and 3D modeling using Autodesk's AutoCAD® and building information modeling (BIM) software Revit®. Includes architectural and structural design; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design; and modeling using the Family Editor in Revit. Prerequisite: ARCE 101 or equivalent, must be eligible for MATH 125, or consent of instructor. LEC.
