BBA 301. Managerial Economics. 3 Hours.

This course uses economic theory and methodology to understand and improve managerial decision making. The focus is on the role of markets in determining business and individual opportunities to create value, the behavior of individual markets reacting to supply and demand forces, and the consequences of alternative market structures and business policies. Course content includes demand, production, cost analysis, supply and demand analysis, price and non-price modes of competition, market structure, and economic efficiency. Prerequisite: Completion of ECON 142 or ECON 143 and ECON 144 or ECON 145. LEC.
