BLAW 525. Negotiations and Dispute Settlement. 3 Hours.
This course involves the study of the theory and practice of dispute resolution and negotiation in business mediation (facilitated negotiation). Conflict resolution in the workplace, including grievance procedures, will be considered. Students are required to apply concepts studied through role playing simulations. Not open to students with credit in BLAW 525 or MGMT 525. (Same as MGMT 525.) Prerequisite: MGMT 310 or MGMT 311 and BE 301 or BE 302 or by permission of instructor. Enrollment restricted. LEC.
