BSAN 325. Systems Analysis and Design. 3 Hours.
This will take students through the entire systems development life cycle from the first contact with a customer through analysis and design to the implementation of the customer's system. It will introduce the student to the field of systems analysis and design, basic systems analysis tools, and the procedures for conducting systems analysis. Topics covered will include the role of the systems analyst in the organization, concepts, philosophies and trends in system analysis and design, and tools and techniques for such analysis. Not open to students with credit in IST 325. Prerequisite: IST 202 or IST 301. Enrollment restricted. LEC.
