FIN 418. Modeling and Risk Analysis. 3 Hours.
An introduction to the concepts, methodologies, and applications of risk analysis and modeling. This course is designed primarily to develop practical modeling skills with spreadsheet software. To accomplish this, material from across the finance discipline will be covered as well as material from the supply chain management discipline. Examples from corporate finance, investments, financial derivatives, real estate, personal finance, and supply chain management methods will be used to demonstrate modeling. (Same as SCM 418.) Not open to students with credit in FIN 460 or SCM 418. Prerequisite: FIN 310 or FIN 311. Enrollment restricted. LEC.
