GS 707. Professional Presentations in the American Academy. 2 Hours.

A course that provides illustrative models and examples, practice, and feedback to allow mastery of professional, informative, and engaging professional and disciplinary presentations. Students will learn the major creative components and organizational structures for professional and conference presentations including: introductions, poster sessions, short lectures or research presentations, and meetings. Students will practice using appropriate delivery modes and skills and develop visual aids for presentations. (Same as GSP 707.) Prerequisite: Participation in the KU MAP program. LEC.
