HA 488 Chinese Painting, Honors
A survey of the development of painting in China, beginning with the earliest forms of figural and landscape depiction. Emphasis will be is placed on the major painting traditions of the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. Prerequisite: An introductory course in art history or Eastern Civilizations and membership in the University Honors Program or consent of instructor.
