JOUR 720. Military and the Media. 3 Hours.

This uniquely structured class enrolls up to 16 advanced Kansas University students and 16 U.S. Army majors from Fort Leavenworth's Command and General Staff College (CGSC). Class goals are to increase the understanding by the military and the media of each other's functions and roles in a democracy. Kansas University and CGSC students work collaboratively on assignments leading to a multimedia project. The course is taught at Lawrence and at Fort Leavenworth and requires some extended class periods. Contact the instructor for more information.
