MKTG 458. Marketing, Supply Chains, and Geographic Information Systems. 3 Hours.

This course is designed to engage students in critical discussions, analysis and use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in a variety of business sectors. Additionally, the course will introduce students to GIS systems used to make business decisions through hands-on and applied assignments. Upon completion, student will understand how GIS and related systems are applied to and utilized by businesses, as well as how to employ basic GIS programs to help solve a variety of business problems. Not open to students with credit in MKTG 458 or GEOG 458. Prerequisite: MKTG 310. Enrollment restricted. LEC.
