PHTO 304. Photography II. 4 Hours.

The second of the two-part foundational Photography sequence, this advanced course builds upon PHTO 303 with additional emphasis on color, RAW workflow, and advanced methods for digital capture, manipulation, editing, and compositing. Additionally, students work extensively with large-format inkjet printers to create custom ICC printing profiles. A digital SLR (RAW capable) camera with full manual controls is required. Students who are majoring in Photography must earn a semester grade of "C" or higher in this course in order to continue in the program. Prerequisite: Admission to the Photography major or minor and PHTO 304 with a grade of C or higher, or instructor permission. LAB.
