How do feminists go about fighting for social change? From social media hashtags to citywide protests, what methods do they use, and how do they justify them? Where have they been effective, and what lessons can we learn from those successes? This course investigates historical and contemporary efforts to change the world, with an emphasis on movements for women's rights and queer liberation in the United States. LEC.
