Minor in Supply Chain Management

Minor in Supply Chain Management

The minor in supply chain management helps prepare business students who are not majoring in supply chain for careers in the field by exposing them to supply chain topics and beyond those discussed in the business core course in supply chain management. The growth in e-commerce has created a huge talent gap in the supply chain management career field. The minor in supply chain management will enable business students to study the foundations of this career field and broaden their knowledge of supply chain management and the relationship of supply chain management to other aspects of business. In addition, the minor will appear on transcripts, thus showing potential employers that the student has a working knowledge of supply chain management.

This minor is only open to students in the B.S.B. degree program pursuing one of the business majors other than supply chain management (e.g., accounting, finance, business analytics, etc.).

This minor is not open to non-business students.

The program requires 15 hours of coursework.
