The 4-course, 12 credit hour Graduate Certificate in Professional Management provides graduate students in variety of fields with the professional skills necessary to advance their careers. For a multi-disciplined working world, mastering business and communication skills as well as practical knowledge is key for success, and will provide you with a competitive hiring advantage that can carry you up the corporate ladder. The KU Professional Management Graduate Certificate can open that door. The Graduate Certificate in Professional Management focuses on four key areas: Project Management; Organizational Management and Team Management; Financial Management; and Organizational/Interpersonal Communication.
Courses in this certificate program are offered online with some courses being offered in the synchronous format and some courses being offered in the asynchronous format.
Admission
In addition to all University requirements for admission to graduate studies, admission to the graduate certificate in Professional Management requires:
- Applicants with a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 do not need to submit supplemental application materials.
- Applicants with a cumulative undergraduate GPA less than 3.0 may be considered for admission upon review of the following supplemental materials. These can be submitted with the application form to expedite the admission review process.
